Day 19 - It's Getting Warm Out Here

Little Bear Spring to Deep Creek Spring 22.4 miles. Distance from Mexico 308 miles

A good day in that we dropped elevation all day & had the sound of running water with us all day - no, my water bottle was not broken but streams - a rare thing in Southern California. Holcomb Creek was gorgeous

A while later we had this lovely lunch spot at Deep Creek

I'm the afternoon it started to warm up & I was throwing back the water. The track was spectacular as it snaked its way along the Deep Creek Gorge - you might be able to make out a hiker on the track

Passed the 300 mile mark today as well.

The day ended a bit flat at Deep Creek Hot Spring - a hangout of Charles Manson. Lets just say I'd like to think it would not happen in NZ. Rubbish everywhere, party central from non hikers & just a general abuse of what could be an idyllic spot. Oh well Weta
