Day 24 - Ugh

Little Jimmy Campground to Sulphur Springs - 22.7 miles. Miles from Mexico - 406.6.0

A tough slog today as we snake out way to Agua Dulce. Got this amazing view at Islip Saddle though
The first of two mentally challenging 1000 foot climbs of the day became longer for me when some moron put an arrow in my line of sight which meant I missed a market & climbed for another 1/2 mile before realising my error.
It was a day that had me questioning the parentage of the trail designers as we traversed gullies in amongst pines & firs with the sound of a nearby mountain highway not far away - a road used by LA natives for clearing the cobwebs on their high performance cars & bikes. At least the afternoon was mainly downhill. Passed the 400 mile marker as well...Weta

  1. Makes the 300m elevation we did at harriers yesterday out the back of Brunswick in the mud seem easy. Nice view of the clouds, definitely worth the ascent for views like that
