Day 105 - Back In The Saddle

Mile 1716.2 to Mile 1740.2 - 24 miles

It was back to the grind today on a largely uneventful day. Tiptoe & I got a hitch from Ashland that had us back on trail at 8.20 am. We continued our easterly push in the Siskiyou Mountains with Pilot Rock as our point of reference
Eventually the trail started to veer north & we could see the rock behind us. To the north west we could also see wide views of Rogue Valley where Ashland was situated.
It was a bit of a slog but we have made camp near Hyatt Reservoir where an old hiking buddy, Ben (Tea Time), the Israeli greeted me. He had jumped up the trail to hike with his girlfriend who had arrived out from Israel. The evening was spent gas bagging with a section hiker from New Hampshire so was a good finish to the day.....Weta
