Day 108 - Calm Returns

Mile 1796.8 to Mazama Village - 21.6 miles. Distance from Mexico - 1818.4 miles

After the dramas of yesterday it was a no frills day today. The blowdowns were still in evidence but increasingly irregular. I chatted to a PCT trail worker who was fighting an uphill battle to clear the mess of trees. We scooted past 1800 miles early on
Most of the day was spent under the green canopy again, which didn't stop a bumble bee stinging me. A southbounder (starting to see a few of those now) confirmed also the Rim Trail at Crater Lake was open....whoop whoop!!
Coming around a corner late in the afternoon I finally got a view up towards Crater Lake
I'm camped at Mazama Village in Crater Lake National Park so free showers & a top up resupply.....Weta
