Day 112 - Shelter Cove Visit

Mile 1899.9 to Mile 1922.6 - 22.7 miles

Today was a little quieter on the miles front due to a 3 hour stopover at Shelter Cove to resupply & laundry. We also dried out gear after some heavy condensation the night before. After slipping through the 1900 mark, it was a short amble to Shelter Cove Resort - A gorgeous spot on the shore of Odell Lake
It was tempting to linger longer but the miles were waiting. A further 19 miles were added in the afternoon through thick forest although we caught glimpses of the 3 Sisters Mountains which are our target in the next day or so. We were greeted by Monique & Damien at Willamette Pass - budding PCT hikers doing some Trail Angel work with Gatorade, beer & cookies. They were a neat couple & are pictured with Morning Glory adding her flair
I also passed the gorgeous Rosary Lake under Pulpit Rock
Lots of lakes tomorrow meaning lots of mosquitos .....Weta
