Day 95 - Winding Our Way to Oregon

Mile 1508.7 to Mile 1534.2 - 25.5 miles

One way or another, the PCT tries to get you. Here we are, close to Oregon, and we spend all day either heading west and then later, back east. As the crow flies we probably didn't go that far north. We were also made to climb a big chunk of the day - 5000 feet in total with the biggest being a 2500 foot monster in the first 4 miles. We eventually peaked at around 7700 feet. At least the elevation made it slightly cooler in what was another hot day. Thank goodness for the occasional fresh water springs.
The views eventually were spectacular but very hazy for decent photos. We could see way south & east where we had come from.
We eventually arrived at Deadfall Lake with a lovely campsite.....Weta
